OMG, we took a tour of the Grand Central Terminal today and these are the things we were most fascinated / impressed with:
1. It was built by railroad titan Cornelius Vanderbuilt (Ted)
2. Jacky Kennedy Onassis saved the building from the wrecking ball (Ted)
3. There is a tennis court on the sixth floor (Ted)
4. 750,000 passengers use the station every year (Edith)
5. The eccentric Campbell lived and worked in the station. His private area is now a bar (Edith)
6. When Vanderbuilt died, he had more money in the bank than the US government (Edith)

What an interesting tour! Next time I’m in NYC I want to do that tour!

That looks fabulous! I read a novel recently and a lot of it took place in GCT back in the day. I want to take that tour!
What was the name of that book?
