Valencia, beautiful Valencia! It greeted us with perfect 24 degrees, a soft Mediterranean breeze, and immediately proved to be one of the most beautiful gems of Spain!
We had spent the whole night at the airport in Nuremberg to catch an early morning flight to Valencia. It was noon until we finally walked into our hotel room. And by 2pm, after a short walk around the neighborhood, we collapsed into a long, deep nap! Wonderful! I so needed that, not only because it was long overdue, but also because I need to teach tonight 😵💫 I hope my students forgive me if I look like I had skipped one night 😬 Zoom has an option to blur the background – maybe they should offer blurring faces?!?
